The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce offers a wide range of outstanding general membership meetings throughout the year.  Guest speakers provide valuable information and insight to our business community.  Our membership  successes are highlighted each year through our awards program honoring Business, Business Person, Ambassador and Rookie of the Year.

Our members get their message out to every business and resident in Bloomingdale by
being included in the bi annual publication of the Membership Directory.  Every member is listed in this telephone directory by category. Display advertising is available at competitive prices.

Five Star Business Expo

To help our Chamber members grow their businesses, we initiated the idea of co-hosting a business-to-business expo with multiple Chambers.  Geared specifically for small businesses, our Expo is highly touted as the best around. The Expo is generally held in February. 

Networking Leads Group

We offer our members a distinct networking group to our every growing list of membership benefits.  Our Bloomingdale ONE (Opportunity Networking Exchange) Leads Group offers intense networking.  This group meets twice a month at the Chamber Office.   

Business After Hours

Hosting a Business After Hours to celebrate a grand opening, an anniversary, or move to a new location is a great way to invite the community and other businesses to get to know you and your business.  All Chamber Business After Hours are scheduled through the chamber.  Please call Jane Hove at 630-980-9082 to start planning your Business After Hours.  A great networking opportunity in a relaxed atmosphere.  

Ribbon Cutting

Hosting a Ribbon Cutting to celebrate a grand opening or move to a new location is a great way to inform the community and other businesses about you and your business.  All you need is fifteen minutes of your time and the desire to get your business noticed.  Call Jane Hove to schedule your ribbon cutting at 630-980-9082. 

Ambassadors

The Ambassadors act as an outreach group to Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce members. They are the liaison between the Chamber Board and staff and its members. Ambassadors are member volunteers who are trained to know the organization and share that information with others in order to help members get the most out of all that the Chamber has to offer.

Bloomingdale Area Women in Business

“empower, embrace and equip women with the knowledge and resources to achieve their personal goals and reach their professional potential.”
With this mission in mind, we responded to concerns of many area women that such a forum is needed.  Our goals include offering educational forums, professional recognition, a resource library and most importantly, mentoring opportunities for women who join our organization.  

Mini Exhibitor Table

Showcase your services and products at monthly luncheons by reserving a table for a mini exhibition.  We will offer a limited number of tables at several of our monthly luncheons.  The cost is $25 per table.  Call the chamber office to reserve your spot!  

Annual Golf Classic

One of the main benefits of membership is the opportunity to network with other business people in the community.  Our annual golf classic is one of the most fun ways to meet with fellow chamber members too!  It’s a day of fun in the sun with good food, games and networking.

New Member Breakfast

New members are given an overview of the chamber and its activities.  The breakfast is held quarterly on the last Thursday of the month starting in January.  If you are interested in sponsoring a New Member Breakfast call the chamber office.
