Through the generosity of our members\, the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce presents scholarships to deserving students who complete an
application process. \; Employees (or children of employees) of member businesses\, and/or residents of Bloomingdale are eligible to apply. \; In 2019\, the Chamber presented $15\,000 in scholarships.

\nAs a donor to the Scholarship Program\, your business will be acknowledged on the Chamber website\, in a Chamber-wide Thank You email and at the Scholarship Breakfast event.
\n
\nAll scholarship sponsors are invited to attend the
Scholarship Breakfast at 8:00 am on Thursday\, June 4\, at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. \; It is at this event that the donors will have the opportunity to meet all the recipients of the scholarships. \;
\n
\n*Alumni and Chamber level donors will be able to participate in the presentation of the awards.
\n
\nAdditionally\, we encourage all Chamber members to attend the
Thursday\, May 7\, Funds for Scholars Luncheon at Outback Steakhouse. \; Net proceeds of this event provide additonal funds to benefit the Chamber'\;s Scholarship Program thanks to\, Salomon Diaz of Outback Steakhouse.

\nThe deadline for student applications is March 27\, 2020 and in order to accommodate the high schools'\; award recognition schedule\,
we are attempting to obtain commitments for all 2020 contributions no later than Friday\, April 24.\n
