DESCRIPTION:Anderson Animal Shelter's Bloomingdale Adoption Center is hosting an informational open house for new and prospective volunteers. \n\n\nVolunteers are key to every aspect of our organization\, from cleaning and maintaining a healthy environment for our animals to training\, exercising\, and socializing our adoptables. As such\, AAS asks for volunteers who can make a regular commitment\, such as a weekly or biweekly shift.\n\n\n\nPlease join us at 6:00 p.m. to take a walk through the Adoption Center! We will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an overview of our organization and how you can help. A New Volunteer Orientation will directly follow at 7:30 p.m. for anyone interested in becoming an AAS volunteer. Volunteers must be 16 years old or older.\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP so we can plan accordingly. There is no cost to attend the informational open house. However\, should you decide to become an AAS volunteer\, we do ask for a one-time $25 volunteer fee to cover the cost of your volunteer supplies. Please note\, we are not able to accept volunteers who are looking to fulfill Court Ordered Community Service.\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you have any questions\, please contact us at sbrown@andersonanimalshelter.org.
