DESCRIPTION:The Bloomingdale Area Women in Business (BAWIB) will present the Georgene Geils Woman of the Year to Pam Hager at our annual dinner on Thursday\, February 27\, at Jameson's Charhouse (details below.)\n\n\n\nPam Hager\, a long-time Bloomingdale resident was nominated twice!  Pam works for TNT Construction\, has resided in Bloomingdale since 1989\, raising two daughters with her husband Jim.  \n\nShe has been an active member of the community through many organizations.  She served on the Bloomingdale Women's Club working on their scholarship and fashion show committees.  She served as president and treasurer during her 1990-2000 tenure.\n\n\n\nPam also was active in the DuJardin PTO\; including chairing the Market Day committee\, volunteering in the school library\, and being a room mother.  Pam also participated in the Boundary Committee of Bloomingdale School District 13 prior to the completion of Erickson School.  When Erickson School opened she became active in the Erickson PTO chairing many committees and becoming Secretary and then President.  During her tenure as President\, the Thanksgiving Feast tradition was begun.  \n\n\n\nPam's other passions were  being a Girl Scout leader\,  Bloomingdale Education Foundation Board working on their publicity and special events as well as the DuPage County American Cancer Society Board where she worked on their first Relay For Life and 5K Run.  She rejoined the Septemberfest Committee in 2011 as Treasurer.   Pam is also a member of the 100+ Women Who Care organization which gives to DuPage charities four times a year and is an active member of St. Paul's Evangelical UCC Church in Bloomingdale. She is active in their Women's Ministry as co-chair and a member of the Church Council. If you are unable to attend the event\, but have not notified us at least 24 hours prior to the event\, you will be responsible for the cost of the event.
