DESCRIPTION:The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to the September luncheon featuring the newly appointed president of the College of DuPage\, Dr. Ann Rondeau. Please join us as we hear Dr. Rondeau share her leadership philosophy and her vision for COD's future. \n\n\n\nPlan to arrive for the networking portion of the meeting to visit with several of the Chamber's Gold\, Platinum and Diamond members who will be hosting mini-expo tables. Also invited are members of the Addison\, Carol Stream\, Roselle\, and Villa Park Chambers of Commerce. This promises to be a spectacular event you won't want to miss.\n\n\n\nIn July 2016\, the College of DuPage board of trustees appointed Dr. Ann Rondeau as the college's sixth president. Dr. Rondeau is a past president of the National Defense University\, a consortium of five colleges and nine research centers in Washington\, DC. She retired from the U.S. Navy as a three-star admiral in 2012\, the second woman to have ever achieved this rank. She then served as a partner and later an independent consultant with the IBM Watson Group. Dr. Rondeau has extensive leadership experience in significant military and educational roles. She holds a B.A. from Eisenhower College (NY)\, an M.A. from Georgetown University (DC) and an Ed.D. from the College of Education at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. Dr. Rondeau also holds an honorary Doctorate in Public Service from Carthage College (Kenosha\, WI).\n\n\n\nThe College of DuPage is entering its 50th Anniversary year.
