DESCRIPTION:Our Troops are giving their all.Here's your chance to give something back.Operation Support Our Troops ~ Illinois is a powerful way for all of us to support our troops overseas.  With our sponsorship and your support we will coordinate a successful drive to send care packages to our service men and women abroad.  The packages will provide personal items tht we daily take for granted but are hard for our troops to come by being so far away from home.While the best way to help is with a cash donation\, we're also accepting care package items and inviting all kids (and parents too) to write a letter of personal thanks to our soliders.  Addressed to "Dear American Hero"  these letters will be collected and included with the care packages.Top 10 items needed:1. Crackers (Standard 10 oz. box\, Ritz\, Club\, Tiscuits or Graham Crackers) to put peanut butter or tuna on. (Critical)2. Bags of Beef Jerky (Troops love this!)3. Cold drink mix packets for bottled water (Propel\, Gatorade and Crystal Light To Go)4. Crew Socks (men's 10-13\, w/o sewn on logo\, black or white)5. Foot powder (20 oz or less)6. Wipes (adult size)7. Traps\, bug repellent (no areosol)\, fly ribbons and fly swatters (short handles work best)8. Power bars\, granola bars9. Sunscreen and Chap Stick10.
