DESCRIPTION:Open to all Restaurants in the Bloomingdale Area to join us for appetizers to discuss Restaurant Week and network with other restaurant owners and general managers.\n\n\n\nThis is a free event sponsored by our Best of Bloomingdale winner ANYWAY'S American Grill & Pub.\n\n\n\nPlease RSVP so we can plan appropriately. \n\n\n\nRestaurant Week Information:\n\n\n\nThis event was created to help you bring new customers to your restaurant and provide you marketing and exposure you would not be able to achieve on your own. The more restaurants we have participating\, greater success for all. \n\n\n\nSummary of Event\n\nRestaurants will create exclusive special offers to entice people to choose their restaurant to visit. It has to be something very special not offered anywhere else\, or any other time of the year. I've benchmarked other Restaurant Weeks\, and the highest success comes from those restaurants offering the best values.\n\n\n\nYou can create special menu items\, the 3 course meal deals\, percent off\, or give aways. Feature a special menu item to debut with a fantastic price. The goal is to bring in new people to the community to experience the culinary diversity of Bloomingdale. \n\n \n\nThe event will be open to Chamber members for a $50 fee with the donation of a gift card (value $20 and up)\, non-Chamber members will be charged $150 to participate and also provide a gift card. Sponsorships will help cover marketing costs. If you want to become a sponsor\, contact Cindy Allston\, Cindy@BloomingdaleChamber.com or 630-980-9082 for details. Sponsorships of $100 will be listed on the Chamber website with hyperlinks.\n\n\n\nRestaurant Week will be advertised via Village of Bloomingdale Almanac cover article\, banners and signage in the community\, eblasts to area residents\, Village enewsletter\, posters and flyers in the restaurants\, and Social Media and it is in the Bloomingdale Community Guide and Business Directory which was mailed out to every Bloomingdale resident and business. The Chamber also adds information to restaurant week websites\, and sends press releases to the Daily Herald and Chicago Tribune. \n\n\n\nYour restaurant information and menu will be on a Restaurant Week page on the Chamber website with hyperlinks back to your website. You'll be included in Chamber eblasts\, on the posters and flyers\, and in the press releases. This exposure is worth more than the fee. If you have pictures of your restaurant or food send them to the Chamber to be included on the website and in the marketing. We will try our best to include as many as possible. Send pictures to Cindy@BloomingdaleChamber.com.\n\n\n\nYou must provide your agreement and menu by June 30\, 2024 to be included in the marketing of this event. Any restaurant signing up after this date risks not be included on the flyers or other marketing. Deliver gift card/certificate to Bloomingdale Chamber\, 104 S. Bloomingdale Rd\, Bloomingdale\, IL 60108\, Attn. Restaurant Week or have ready for pick up when your poster\, flyers and signs are delivered.\n\n\n\n Raffle Contest\n\nCustomers will send their receipts to the Chamber via email to Contest@BloomingaleChamber.com or mailed to 104 S. Bloomingdale Rd\, Bloomingdale\, 60108\, to be entered into the drawing pulled at the conclusion of Restaurant Week. The value of the prize will be determined on the number of gift cards donated. Receipts must be dated between July 15 21\, 2024 and received by July 26\, 2024.\n\n \n\nRestaurant Passport\n\nThe Restaurant Passport will be used to distinguished customers patronizing your restaurant because of Restaurant Week from the general public. At the time of ordering\, customers will need to show your server their Restaurant Passport. The Restaurant Passport can be printed off from BloomingdaleChamber.com\, it is included in the Village of Bloomingdale Almanac cover article\, in the Bloomingdale 2024 Community Guide and Business Directory mailed to all Bloomingdale residents and businesses\, found at the Chamber office\, Village Hall\, Bloomingdale Public Library\, Bloomingdale Park District\, and at other local businesses. Customers must have a printed Restaurant Passport to receive the discounts.\n\n\n\nRestaurant Agreement\n\nBy agreeing to participate in Restaurant Week you agree to the following:\n\n Donate a gift card/certificate to be used in the raffle for those customers patronizing participating restaurants. Gift card amounts should be valued at a minimum of $20.\n Post flyers\, posters and signage\, all provided\, in your restaurant\, including a sign in front of your restaurant to spotlight your business to the public as participating in Restaurant Week. Flyers are formatted to be included in bill folders.\n Share the event and posts on Social Media. The Chamber will create an event tagging your business as a co-host.\n Place provided flyers in your establishment advertising Restaurant Week listing all participating restaurants.\n Inform your staff about Restaurant Week. This is the largest complaint we have from diners\, that the servers did not know about Restaurant Week!\n\nSponsorships\n\n $100 Friend Sponsor: Name/Logo on Chamber website with hyperlink and included in eblasts\n\n \n\nComplete the form HERE and return to Cindy Allston by June 30\, 2024.
