DESCRIPTION:We will highlight the non profits of Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce on September 12 at Bloomingdale Golf Club.  Join us to learn about the work of our non-profit organizations while you network with fellow Chamber members.  Each non profit will have a mini expo booth. \n\n\n\nDave Neary\, will be our guest speaker:\n\n\n\nDavid Neary is the Executive Director for DuPage Habitat for Humanity\, a not for profit ecumenical housing ministry.  Dave recently made the transition from Business Entrepreneur to Social Entrepreneur\, fulfilling a personal mission to be of greater service to his community.  Dave began his carrier as a carpenter and quickly moved to the financial side of construction and real estate.  After participating in the startup of several companies\, Dave became the founder and president of WestLand Construction\, a commercial contracting and real estate development firm.  During his 20 year tenure\, he successfully completed over 1\,200 projects amounting to over 8\,200\,000 square feet of construction space.  Dave's responsibilities included the identification\, acquisition\, financing\, design and construction of a variety of retail\, commercial and industrial ventures as well as affordable housing developments.  Neary has been a founding principal in a number of other ventures including a recreational vehicle park\, a private commercial aviation facility\, a self-storage company and a fine dining restaurant. \n\n\n\nDave has always maintained a solid commitment to his community\, taking leadership roles in many not for profit organizations\, providing financial and professional support for causes which he is passionate.
