SUMMARY:Shopping Cart Shuffle 5K
DESCRIPTION:There are more than 68\,000 food insecure individuals in DuPage County\, almost half of which do not qualify for government assistance.  Please join us in this chip-timed\, family-friendly 5K run/walk to feed our hungry neighbors!  \n\nSince 1999\, Neighborhood Food Pantries has provided food security to our neighbors in need\, as well as monetary assistance for housing\, utilities\, medical care/prescriptions\, etc.  Funds raised from this 5K event will be used to help us reach our 2018 goal to provide over  2 million meals.\n\nThe USATF certified 5k course winds through beautiful Mallard Lake Forest Preserve.\n\nThe top 3 overall male and female runners will receive a medal\, as will the top runners in each bracket (overall winners are not eligible for age group medals):\n\n\n\n                                  70+                        30-39 \n\n                              60-69                         20-29          \n\n                              50-59                         14-19 \n\n                              40-49                         13 & under\n\nRace entry includes: bib\, performance fit T-shirt\, and a post race snack for all runners!\n\nRegister as a team and recruit your friends\, colleagues and family members to join you!  (all team members receive a $5 registration discount!)\n\nKids ages 2 - 10 can participate in a 500M "Express Lane Kids Dash" after the race\, and the registration fee for ages 6+ includes a T-shirt.  The top 3 overall finishers will receive ribbons.\n\nREGISTER HERE
