Join Mayor Iden and Strider Elass on Thursday\, March 8 2012.\n\n	\n\n	Mayor Bob Iden\, moved to Bloomingdale in 1968. He became involved in civic activities from the start\, and has been active in Village politics since 1979. Bob has been Mayor of Bloomingdale since November 1992.\n\n	 \n\n	Bob strongly emphasizes the value of positive intergovernmental relations with local entities\, such as the schools\, park district and chamber\, as well as with neighboring communities.\n\n	\n\n	Strider Elass is an Economic Analyst at First Trust Advisors L.P.\, a financial services firm based in Wheaton\, Illinois.  At First Trust\, Mr. Elass is responsible for analyzing economic indicators and writing economic commentaries.  \n\n	He is also responsible for writing featured pieces on the First Trust Economics Blog.  \n\n	 \n\n	He was also instrumental in researching for the book It's Not As Bad As You Think\, published in 2009 by First Trust Chief Economist Brian Wesbury.\n\n	\n\n	Event Cancellation Policy\n\n	Pre-registration for our events is required so that the hosting venue can prepare an adequate number of meals.  If you need to cancel your registration\, you must do so 3 days in advance of the event.  If you are unable to attend the event\, but have not notified us at least 3 days prior to the event\, you will be responsible for the cost of the event.
