SUMMARY:2021 Bloomingdale Chamber Scholarships
DESCRIPTION:The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce\, along with contributions from several area businesses\, will award scholarships in the range of $500 - $1\,500 to graduating high school or current college students. Applicants must be planning to continue his/her education on a full-time basis\, at an accredited post-secondary college\, university\, or vocational school in the United States to be eligible. \n\n\n\nApplicants must fall into one of the following categories:\n\n A Chamber member employee (or their immediate family member). OR \n A Resident of Bloomingdale\n High school graduating senior or continuing post-secondary school student. You must be a full-time student (i.e.\, minimum of 12 quarter hours or 15 semester hours).\n Academic Merit (must have a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA to be considered) \n\n\n\nScholarships must be used within the first year of being awarded. The award check will be payable to the student upon verification of enrollment through the school.\n\n\n\nA committee from the general membership of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce will evaluate applications based on the established criteria.
