Scholarship Program     

The Bloomingdale Chamber Announces Their Scholarships Offering for 2026!

The Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce, along with contributions from several area businesses, will award scholarships of $1,000 to graduating high school, current college (freshman through junior years) and students entering a trade school or certificate program such as cosmetology, car mechanics, HVAC, etc.

• College Scholarship applicants must be planning to continue their education on a full-time basis at an accredited post-secondary college, university, or 2-year college in the United States to be eligible. 
• High school graduating senior or continuing post-secondary school student (freshmen through junior years).You must be a full-time student (i.e., minimum of 12 quarter hours or 15 semester hours).
• Trade School Scholarship applicants must be planning to continue their education at an accredited vocational/technical or trade school, such as but not limited to: Technology of DuPage, cosmetology, car mechanics, HVAC or other certification in a trade to be eligible.

All applicants must fall into one of the following categories:

• A Chamber member employee (or their immediate family member)   

      OR

• A Resident of Bloomingdale 

Scholarships must be used within the first semester of being awarded.  The award check will be payable to the student upon verification of enrollment through the school.

A committee from the general membership of the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce will evaluate applications based on the established criteria.  Recommendations from this committee will be tabulated to determine the winners.
