Sales Associate - Full-time

Location: Hector’s Car Wash & Detail – Carol Stream, IL
Reports To: Owners
Compensation: $31,200-36,000 annual salary + tips and uncapped commission

Job Summary:

The Sales Associate at Hector’s Car Wash & Detail is a key member of the customer service team, responsible for creating a welcoming experience, educating customers about our wash and detail services, with a focus of driving membership and package sales. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, outgoing, and goal-driven with sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell five memberships per day –
• Greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Explain and upsell wash packages, detail services, and monthly memberships
• Promote customer loyalty and satisfaction through personalized service
• Run the express wash system
• Track and report daily sales activities
• Process payments and operate POS system accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front area
• Communicate special instructions to the wash and detail teams
• Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
• Participate in training and team meetings as required

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a sales-driven environment
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
• Previous sales or customer service experience required
• Must be authorized to work in the US

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions

Car Wash Hours:

• Monday through Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 6 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekends required.   6-day work week.

Compensation & Perks:

• Salary up to $36,000 per year (based on experience)
• Tips (Paid daily)

2–4-week probationary period.
 
Other benefits: One week’s paid vacation after one year of service. Up to 40 hours of PTO based on hours worked.401K after 60 days.
