The Illinois Chamber is excited to offer insightful updates on recent legislative changes that have been enacted or proposed at the local and State levels. The Illinois General Assembly concluded the Spring legislative session by enacting several corporate tax changes, many of which have been impacted by subsequent federal tax changes contained under H.R. 1 (otherwise known as the One Big Beautiful Bill). During this virtual meeting, Ramiro Hernandez of the Illinois Chamber’s Government Relations team will provide insights into these important developments, in addition to covering many of the items that were taken up during the Illinois General Assembly’s “Veto Session” that will take place from October 14-16 & October 28-30. Following this presentation, participants will be hearing from Chief Administrative Law Judge, James M. Conway, and Administrative Law Judge, Brian F. Barov, of the Illinois Independent Tax Tribunal to discuss their recent activities at the agency. The conversation will be moderated by Illinois Chamber-member Samantha Breslow of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP. Participants will be able to engage in brief Q&A after both segments of the meeting. CLE credit is available for participants.
