Parade, Music, Food and Fun for Everyone at Septemberfest!
Septemberfest returns for its 51st year to Old Town (Lake St. & Bloomingdale Road) Bloomingdale on Saturday, September 6, 2025. This beloved end-of-summer tradition is filled with food, fun, and live music.
The day begins at 11:00 AM with the Septemberfest parade stepping off from DuJardin School and heading north on Euclid Ave. to Schick Road before ending in Old Town. Local groups and organizations are encouraged to join the parade — there is no cost to participate, and it’s a great way to show your pride and connect with the community. Highlights include toe-tapping Dixieland music from the Big City Dixieland Bank and the classic car showcase from the Northern Ryas Corvette Club.
This year’s event will feature a dynamic new lineup of entertainment, showcasing talented local performers, dance studios, musicians, and interactive shows that the whole family will enjoy. From the main stage to youth-centered activities, there's something for everyone. The stage entertainment kicks off at 12:00 pm when Mayor Franco Coladipietro welcome attendees and the VFW Post 7539 will present the flag and Tony Spavone will perform the National Anthem. The Village will also honor Joe Draphi and Dominic Froio Scholarship recipients.
The fan-favorite emcee Brett Walkow returns with his signature humor and energy. Enjoy afternoon performances by local groups including the Bloomingdale Park District Notable Notes, Center Stage Dance Studio, Bloomingdale School of Music, Lights, Camera, Dancin’, ROMA Tang Soo Do Karate and Synergy Dance. Around Old Town explore food and drink vendors, crafters, business booths, the Lion’s Club Beer booth and the popular Kiddie Carnival with rides and games for younger guests.
At 4:00 pm the evening concert lineup begins with Fearless, a Taylor Swift tribute band, followed by LouderNow performing early 2000s rock hits by bands like Fall Out Boys, and My Chemical Romance. The night ends with Hair Band Night, rocking out to glam rock legends like Bon Jovi, Def Leppard and Guns N’ Roses.
Whether you come for the parade, stay for the music, or simply enjoy a day of food and fun with friends and family, Septemberfest promises to be a celebration to remember. Mark your calendars, gather your neighbors, and join us in Old Town Bloomingdale at the corners of Lake Street and Bloomingdale Roads, on Saturday, September 6 for this cherished community tradition that continues to bring people together year after year.
