This is a community-based support group where women who have lost a spouse come together to share experiences, offer mutual encouragement, and help each other navigate the challenges of widowhood. This group is peer-led, meaning our meetings are facilitated by other widows who understand the unique emotional, practical, and identity-related struggles of this life stage.
Benefits:
Emotional Support: Reduces isolation and validates feelings.
Practical Guidance: Sharing resources and solutions for everyday challenges.
Identity Rebuilding: Encouragement to explore new roles and interests.
Resilience Building: Strategies to adapt and thrive after loss.
Community Connection: Belonging to a community of people who truly understand.
