Afito Chiu

Afito Chiu is the founder of The Balanced Professional Works, a Bloomingdale-based space serving professionals across DuPage County who are rebuilding after layoffs, burnout, career pivots, or major life shifts. As a post-refugee daughter, former higher-education professional, and laid-off mother turned accountability coach and facilitator, Afito understands how uncertain it can feel to plan what’s next. Through small peer group spaces, workshops, and 1:1 accountability and planning support, she helps people reset, clarify priorities, and follow through at a pace that fits real life. Afito is an active Bloomingdale Chamber member and a Best of Bloomingdale award recipient, committed to offering grounded guidance and steady momentum.
